Prefer to book directly through this website?

It means a lot to me when you choose to book directly through this website instead of through Airbnb or Booking.com. Taxes for B&Bs and hotels in Amsterdam have increased significantly in recent years and are expected to rise further in the coming years. On top of that, bookings made through the large platforms come with substantial commission fees.

By booking directly with me, you help me keep Amster Houseboat personal, welcoming and affordable. And there is something in it for you too: booking directly with me will always give you a better price than booking through Airbnb or Booking.com.

Planning to stay for more than two nights? Feel free to send me a message. I’ll be happy to see what I can do for you and will always offer you my best direct rate.

Thank you so much for supporting our small, local B&B. It is truly appreciated.See you on the houseboat :)

With love, Rosalie

We loved our stay! The neighbourhood was peaceful and quiet. It almost felt like we were in the countryside while being so close to the city. The free ferry was a 15 min walk. There was also some very nice restaurants in the area. The apartment itself was very clean and looked just like the pictures. We also loved the view from the room. I would definitely recommend this host

Great place. Very comfortable bed and a quiet place to read after a long day in the city. Take the F4 ferry to go back and forth to Amsterdam central station/the city. Only a 10-15 min walk from the ferry to the boat house. There’s a grocery store right near the ferry which makes things convenient. Host is easy to work with and highly recommend if visiting Amsterdam.

Great stay in a spacious houseboat in a quiet area of Amsterdam. It was easy to get into the city centre by bus and metro. The living space was large, the bathroom was a great size, and the views over the water were lovely. The garden was a nice bonus and a great place to relax. We'd happily stay here again.
